lotlyze is operated by East Branch Capital LLC. This page describes how we collect, use, and handle information when you use our website. We are committed to your privacy and do not sell your personal information.
Information We Collect
Usage data
We collect standard server logs including IP address, browser type, referring URL, and pages visited. This data is used to monitor site performance and diagnose errors. It is not linked to any individual identity.
Account data (registered users)
If you create an account, we collect your email address and a hashed password (managed by Clerk). We store your subscription tier and API usage counters in our database. We do not store payment card details — those are handled entirely by Stripe.
Search queries
Property lookups you perform may be logged temporarily for rate-limiting purposes. We do not associate queries with user identities on the free, unauthenticated tier.
Cookies
We use session cookies necessary for account authentication. We also use Google AdSense (on the free tier), which sets its own cookies for ad personalization. You can opt out of personalized ads via Google Ad Settings or your browser's cookie controls.
Third-Party Services
- Google AdSense — serves ads on the free tier. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
- Clerk — handles authentication. Subject to Clerk's Privacy Policy.
- Stripe — handles payments. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
- NYC Open Data / Socrata — source of all property data. No personal data is sent to Socrata.
- Netlify — hosting provider. May log network-level traffic.
Data Retention
Server logs are retained for up to 30 days. Cached API responses (stored in Upstash Redis) expire automatically within 6 hours. Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account at any time by emailing us.
Your Rights

Children's Privacy
This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy periodically. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
